This upcoming Monday, October 3rd, CMA EDU will be putting on a free event at Belmont’s own- BLVD Music Shop. The event will showcase eighteen singer songwriters all performing country music in honor of “Country Music Awareness Month.” Admission is free, and there will also be raffles and prizes. Who doesn’t like free music and prizes? And if free music was tantalizing enough in itself, Moovers and Shakers will be at the event with special “country themed” milkshakes. Doors will open at 7:00. The event is not limited to CMA EDU members; everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. I’m not sure why I haven’t thought of combining live country music, CMA prizes, and milkshakes, but it’s simply brilliant. Bravo Country Throw Down. Bravo.
